PBS- Misunderstood Minds

This site is a companion to the PBS special Misunderstood Minds, and profiles a variety of learning problems and expert opinions. It is designed to give parents and teachers a better understanding of learning processes, insights into difficulties, and strategies for responding.


National Center for Learning Disabilities

The National Center for Learning Disabilities provides national leadership in support of chilren and adults with learning disabilities by offering, information, resources, and referral services; developing and supporting innovative educational programs; promoting public awareness; and advocating for more effective policies and legislation to help individuals with learning disabilities.


LD resources

The LD Resources web site has been providing resources for people with learning disabilities since 1995. The site offers writing resources and a discussion area where users can post questions, their own resources or stories, or join numerous ongoing discussions.


LD Online

LD Online is a leading website on learning disabilities for parents, teachers, and other professionals. Resources on written expression difficulties are included.


Adapting Instruction: A Potpourri of Strategies for Teaching Writing

This site offers some basic strategies for effective writing instruction.


RET Center Press
