Bio

Donald E. Conlon, Gambrel Family Endowed Professor Management, is focusing his research in the areas of organizational behavior and negotiation/ dispute resolution. His work examines justice issues in organizations, negotiation and third party dispute intervention, and decision making.

Conlon earned his PhD in business administration from the organizational behavior group at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

His research has been published in a variety of journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and the Journal of Applied Psychology. He has also received “Best paper” awards from both the Academy

of Management and the International Association for Conflict Management. He has served as the President of the International Association for Conflict Management, and is a past Division Chair for the Conflict Management Division of  the Academy of  Management. He has  served or currently serves on numerous editorial boards including the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Management, the Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes.
