What you need to know

  • Two new COVID-19 boosters targeting omicron subvariants has been approved by the FDA and CDC, replacing all other boosters for those 12 and older. MSU’s vaccine mandate requires full vaccination and at least one booster, regardless of type (or have an approved exemption).
  • The MSU Health Care Pharmacy is scheduling appointments for the new Pfizer bivalent COVID-19 booster.
  • Masks are no longer required on campus, including in classrooms and research spaces.

COVID-19 testing

PCR testing at the MSU Clinical Center is offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 12:30-5:30 p.m. Off-campus testing also is widely available in the East Lansing area and throughout the state and country. Additionally, most health insurers will reimburse individuals for the costs of at-home tests.
