Many national recruiting experts agree when George Perles calls his 1993 football recruits his "best ever" class.

Tom Lemming and Allen Wallace, both prominent national recruiting analysts, rate MSU's class among the Top 20 in the country. Lemming rates it second in the Big Ten. In all, MSU landed nine All-Americans (three of them consensus All-Americans), one junior college All-American, and one All-Canada. Four others made All-Midwest or All-East regional lists. Most importantly, MSU filled major needs and upgraded the team's overall speed.
