Note: can be tied in brown, tan, or grey.

Start the thread near the hook eye and tie in the antennae so they stick out over the hook eye. Cover the remainder of the hook with thread and tie in the tail fibers, monofilament, and plastic strip back. Make a dubbing loop and lay dubbing material in the loop perpendicular to thread. Twist to make a spikey dubbing rope. Dub forward to the tie down point for the antennae. Pull the back forward and tie down. Palmer the monofilament forward and tie down. Trim both the monofilament and back. Form a small thread head and finish.
