Athens, July 3-6, 2011

 

   

The Commission on the Geography of Global Information Society will hold its annual meeting in Athens, July 3-6, 2011.   What better location than Athens to discuss the relationship between ICT and society, with special emphasis on participation, tradition, and the future.  The Athens meeting will be chaired by Dr Maria Giaoutzi of the National Technical University of Athens in collaboration with the IGU Commission on Global Information Society (Mark Wilson, Michigan State University) and the Mediterranean Renaissance Project (Maria Paradiso, University of Sannio).

 

The conference is sponsored by the National Technical University of Athens and the School of Planning, Design and Construction at Michigan State University.
