A variety of research opportunities are available in the Lau lab for individuals interested in evolutionary ecology and community ecology, the ecological and evolutionary outcomes of species interactions, and the consequences of rapid environmental changes for natural populations.

Graduate students:

Graduate students in my lab apply through the Plant Biology Graduate Program http://www.plantbiology.msu.edu/graduate-program/phd-program. Students typically spend their first year or two completing coursework on the main MSU campus in East Lansing, MI before moving to KBS to pursue their research and complete their degree. Students interested in pursuing graduate work in the Lau lab should send a brief e-mail describing their research interests.

No post-doctoral positions are available in the Lau lab at this time.

Undergraduate / High School Students:

Both summer and school year projects are available for undergraduate and local high school students looking for research experience. Students can complete independent studies or volunteer on existing projects (a limited number of paid positions also may be available).
