Alon P. Kraitzman
I am a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at Michigan State University. My research focuses on comparative politics, public opinion and executive politics. I explore how people's evaluations of political leaders are shaped by socio-economic conditions as well as by the political contexts under which the government operate in contemporary Western democracies. My research has been published in PS: Political Science & Politics and Presidential Studies Quarterly. I teach classes on quantitative methodology, campaigns and elections, comparative politics, electoral politics, and public opinion. I have a Ph.D. in Political Science from Michigan State University (2018), a M.A. in Political Science (with honors) from Tel Aviv University (2010), and a B.A. in Political Science and Communication (with honors) from Tel Aviv University (2007).
