Save the Date...30th Annual Taste of the Town

The Grand Finale

Saturday, April 7th, 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

In 1997 the MSU Community Club Board created a committee to raise the required $20,000 to establish an Endowed Scholarship Fund. Taste of the Town became the primary annual event to fund the endowment which was officially established in December 1999. The first scholarship was awarded in 2003 to a student majoring in Horticulture honoring Norma Guyer, a past president of MSUCC (1977-78) and First Lady of MSU. MSUCC endowed scholarships have been awarded to 47 students in various disciplines throughout the university. The 2018-19 MSUCC Endowed Scholarships of $2,500 each will be awarded to four Engineering students. As we celebrate the Grand Finale of this annual event, we thank our patrons, MSUCC members and food and beverage establishments for their loyal support and most generous donations. Together we have provided funds for qualified students to achieve their educational goals for many future years. Please join us for a night of fun, food, and friendship to benefit MSU students.
