Along the beach on the Gilligan family's 40 acres of mature Cedar and Birch forest located on the north west edge of the island.

The beach campsites consist of rocks all the way up to the cedar tree line. There was plenty of distance and privacy between campers.

The sunsets were breathtaking with a view of the bridge to the north. The first night I woke-up to the sound like a deep slow heart beat that I could feel more than hear. The next morning, several people reported being awaken by the sound. Most thought it was just a freighter that was missing on a cylinder. Maybe it was the heartbeat of the island.
