American Association for the Advancement of Science Fellows

The American Association for the Advancement of Science is the world’s largest multidisciplinary scientific society.  Membership to the AAAS is open to educators, researchers, students, and retirees from the fields of science and engineering, and any other individuals who share the Association’s goals and the belief that science, technology, engineering, and mathematics can help solve the challenges the world faces today.  In a tradition stretching back to 1874, each year AAAS honors certain members whose efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications are scientifically or socially distinguished.
