Bio

Dr. Rafael Auras is a professor in the School of Packaging, where he spearheads a dynamic research group comprised of enthusiastic undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral students whose primary focus revolves around investigating pass transfer phenomena in polymers; exploring the potential of biodegradable and compostable polymers; conducting life cycle assessments; studying packaging waste management and developing sustainable packaging systems.
