Bio

Roger Baldwin, professor in the MSU College of Education and the Mildred B. Erickson Distinguished Chair in Higher, Adult and Lifelong Education, focuses his research on the academic profession, curriculum, and organizational change. 

His professional interests include curriculum change, faculty career development, conditions in the academic workplace, and transformation in higher education systems. 

Earning his doctorate from the University of Michigan, Baldwin has been a professor in the Department of Educational Administration since 2001. 

His most recent work focuses on changing faculty appointment patterns, contingent faculty, faculty in the later stages of academic life, and evolving faculty roles and professional activities.
