André Bénard is the J.A. Schmidt Endowed Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research interests include sustainable manufacturing and materials processing, multiphase flow and heat transfer, and the design and modeling of new separation and processing equipment--technology that will improve the sustainability of modern society.
