Bio

Dr. Anne Dorrance is chair of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, and the co-director of an NIH-funded Integrative Pharmacological Sciences Training Program. She has a keen interest in developing the mentoring skills of both faculty and students, and also has a body of research focused on the effects of hypertension and obesity on the cerebral vasculature, specifically, how vascular dysfunction contributes to the development and exacerbation of dementia.
