Bio

Dr. Patrick Edger is an associate professor in the Department of Horticulture. His primary research interest focuses on understanding how plant genomes have and continue to be shaped by the environment, with the goal of identifying markers that can be selected or modified to improve fruit quality, abiotic resistances, and yield of strawberry and blueberry cultivars.
