Bio

Dr. Robert Fowkes-Gajan is an internationally recognized endocrinologist who is particularly interested in the study of endocrinopathies across species and endocrine-related cancers. Dr. Fowkes has been a leader in hormone signaling using a range of model systems in efforts to characterize mechanisms of endocrine disorders.

His research accomplishments showcase the essential bridge between basic and clinical research. Dr. Fowkes’s professional reputation is also documented through his extensive publications (>50 peer-reviewed manuscripts), invited national and international presentations, and robust extramural funding record.
