Zoran Ivković, MSUFCU Endowed Chair in Financial Institutions/Investments and professor in the Department of Finance, joined the Eli Broad College of Business faculty in 2007, serving as the MSUFCU Chair since 2011. Ivković focuses his research on financial institutions and investment-related topics, including asymmetric information in financial markets and investor behavior.
Ivković earned his PhD in Finance from Yale University, a PhD in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Delaware, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. He was formerly a faculty member at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Ivković has published articles in leading finance and economics journals, including The American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. Mainstream media, including Chicago Tribune, Financial Times, Forbes, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal, have cited his research. He has presented around the world at financial conferences and seminars such as the Western Finance Association Meetings, American Finance Association Meetings, European Finance Association Meetings, and many others. He also organizes the annual MSUFCU Conference on Financial Institutions and Investments, featuring panels of internationally recognized finance experts.
