Bio

Dr. Nicholas Kanaan is a professor in the Department of Translational Neuroscience in the College of Human Medicine, and the primary investigator in a research lab focused on aging-related neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, frontotemporal dementias, and Parkinson’s—specifically, the molecular mechanisms underlying these degenerative diseases, and therapeutic strategies that will improve the lives of those affected.
