Bio

Wolfgang Mittig is a John A. Hannah Distinguished Professor of Physics. He joined the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at MSU in 2008, and his area of research centers around experimental nuclear physics, more specifically on the spectroscopy of exotic nuclei.

In addition to his work at the NSCL, Mittig is also a researcher at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams.
