Bio

David Souder was named the Eli and Edythe L. Broad Dean of the Broad College of Business in 2024. 

As a researcher, his focus is on corporate short-termism and long-term thinking, and he is a frequent speaker with media and business groups on related topics. He is the lead author of a systematic review and executive report on ways to incorporate long-term thinking into current business decisions, and has previous experience in the private sector as a strategy consultant.
