Alexandra Zevalkink is an associate professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science and the C. Robert and Kathryn M. Weir Endowed Professor. She specializes in energy and materials research, with a focus on the relationship between the atomic structure and bonding in inorganic materials and the resulting elastic, thermal, and electronic properties.
She was bestowed the Weir Professorship by the College of Engineering in 2023.
