Statement on Status of Healing Assistance Fund, July 26, 2018

It was brought to our attention earlier this week by the firm that manages the Healing Assistance Fund that there are possible fraudulent claims being made. MSU has decided to halt all further payments while the situation can be investigated. This fund was created to provide survivors the resources they need for their recovery and healing, specifically counseling and mental health services, and we want to ensure these funds are being distributed appropriately.
