Michael Zeig

Biography

Michael Zeig was named chief of staff to the president in September 2018. In this role, Zeig serves as the president’s main liaison with other university vice presidents and executives to advance the university’s strategic priorities. He also supervises the operations of the president’s office and staff. Zeig joined MSU in 2012 and served as director of university planning prior to assuming his current role. Before joining MSU, he worked at Central Michigan University and in Michigan’s Executiv
