With a $19 million NIH grant, Henry Ford Health + MSU Health Sciences and Corewell Health will study ways to reduce pregnancy complications. Jennifer Johnson and Cristian Meghea are principal investigators.

 

Jazz icon in the American Academy of Arts and Sciences

Detroit jazz icon Rodney Whitaker is a new member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He joins artists, scholars and scientists of one of the oldest learned societies in the United States.

 

Spartan receives National Medal of Science

Teresa K. Woodruff joined an elite group of Americans who have received two national medals of honor when she was awarded the National Medal of Science. She is the first person at MSU to receive this honor.
