Biography
Philip Zecher is MSU’s first chief investment officer. A former hedge fund manager, Zecher oversees all the university’s long-term investments, including its endowment. From 2010 to 2014, Zecher served on the MSU Research Foundation Board of Directors and from 2011 to 2014 on the Board of Trustees’ investment advisory subcommittee. He also has served as senior advisor to the president for investments and as an executive in residence and professor of finance in the Eli Broad College of Business.
