The MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine celebrated the commencement of its first class from the Physician Assistant Medicine Program on Friday, Aug. 23.

Two alumnae from MSU’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources were selected to support Team USA athletes as registered dietitians during the summer 2024 Paris Paralympics.

Though my first four years have been filled with a number of highs and lows, I am grateful for all of the wins and lessons along the way. Most importantly, I am excited and confident about the future of MSU football, and in the next chapter which commences Friday night.

Hannah Distinguished Professor in the Department of Plant, Soil and Microbial Sciences in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, discussed the concept of “corn sweat,” caused by the moisture released by fields of corn during hot temperatures.

A stark social divide: Adults without college degrees more likely to have no close friends, survey finds: Amanda Holmstrom, professor in the Department of Communication in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences, commented on Americans struggling to devote time and energy to their friendships.

FIFA aims for the perfect pitch at 2026 World Cup following fields called a disaster at Copa America: “One of the easiest decisions I have made around this tournament so far was the partnering of UT and MSU universities,” said Alan Ferguson, FIFA26 director of infrastructure and technical services. “Both already had world-leading reputations, both already led by world-leading turf professors. I didn’t want to reinvent the wheel — it was already here.”

MSU used an inclusive and comprehensive strategic planning process to create a shared vision for the future and a common set of principles and values to guide our work.

To recognize the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion as a foundation for university, MSU is using a comprehensive DEI planning process focusing on those values and working in collaboration with the overall strategic planning process.

The RVSM Strategic Plan stems from work by leading researchers and experts in the field to develop a plan for survivor services, prevention efforts, and climate and culture change initiatives.
